Christmas Assistance for Your Family
Josephine County Toys for Tots is honored to help local families who may need a little extra support this Christmas season. Through the generosity of our community, we work to provide new toys and gifts to eligible children throughout Josephine County.
Please read the following information carefully before completing your application.
?? Before You Apply
Please be prepared to provide accurate information for your household and each child for whom you are requesting assistance.
Information requested may include:
- Parent or legal guardian name and contact information
- Proof of Josephine County residency
- Information showing financial need or qualifying assistance
- Proof that each child listed is in your care
- Each child’s name and age
- Each child’s likes, hobbies, and interests
- Any additional information needed to determine eligibility
Additional documentation may be requested during the review process.

Please take the time to include a few likes and interests for each child on your application.
This year, our distribution process will work a little differently. Instead of families selecting toys during distribution, our staff and volunteers will prepare a package for your family before your scheduled pickup.
Information about your child’s interests helps our team make thoughtful selections from the toys available to us.
You might tell us about their favorite activities, sports, hobbies, characters, colors, things they enjoy building or creating, or other interests.
?? Gifts Are Based on Donations
Josephine County Toys for Tots is made possible through the generosity of our community. The toys and gifts we distribute are based on what is donated to our local campaign.
While we will do our best to consider the likes and interests you provide, we cannot guarantee specific toys, brands, characters, electronics, gift values, or requested items.
Your child's interests are used as a guide to help our volunteers select appropriate gifts from the inventory available.

Please submit only one application per household and include all eligible children in your care on that application.
Duplicate applications may delay the review process and could affect our ability to process your request.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or assistance. Applications are reviewed according to eligibility requirements, available donations, campaign resources, and the information provided.
?? When Will I Hear From Toys for Tots?
After successfully submitting your application, you will receive confirmation that it has been received.
Initial correspondence regarding family applications is expected to begin around December 1st.
Please do not be concerned if you do not hear from us immediately after applying. Beginning around December 1st, please monitor the email address provided on your application, including your spam and junk folders.
If additional information or documentation is required, our team will contact you.

Approved families will receive an email containing important distribution information, including your assigned pickup date, time, and location.
Your family's toys will already be selected, packaged, and prepared for you before your scheduled pickup.
Please carefully follow the instructions included in your approval email and arrive during your assigned pickup time.

Applicant Information

One Application Per Household
I understand that I may submit only one application per household and that all eligible children in my care should be included on the same application.
I understand that duplicate applications may delay processing and may require additional review by the campaign team.
Approval Is Not Guaranteed

Toys & Gifts Are Donation-Based
I understand that the toys and gifts distributed by Josephine County Toys for Tots are based on items donated or otherwise made available to the local campaign.
I understand that providing my child’s likes and interests helps volunteers make thoughtful selections; however, specific toys, brands, characters, electronics, gift values, or requested items cannot be guaranteed.
I understand that the number and type of gifts provided may vary depending on available inventory and donations.
Toys Are for the Children Listed
I agree that any toys or gifts received through Josephine County Toys for Tots are intended for the children listed and approved on my application.
I agree that toys received through the program will not be sold, exchanged, raffled, auctioned, or used for financial gain.

I understand that initial correspondence regarding family applications is expected to begin around December 1st.
I am responsible for monitoring the email address and phone number provided on my application, including my spam and junk email folders, for communication from Josephine County Toys for Tots.
If additional information or documentation is requested, I understand that I should respond promptly to prevent delays in processing my application.
?? Scheduled Toy Pickup
If my application is approved, I understand that Josephine County Toys for Tots staff and volunteers will prepare my family’s toy package before distribution based on my children's ages and interests and the donated inventory available.
I understand that I will receive an assigned pickup date, time, and location by email and agree to follow the distribution instructions provided.
I understand that failure to pick up my family's package during the assigned distribution period, without making prior arrangements with the campaign team, may result in the toys being returned to available inventory so they can be provided to another child or family.
Applicant Agreement
By submitting this application, I confirm that I have read and understand the information above and agree to follow the requirements established by Josephine County Toys for Tots.
I understand that the goal of the program is to serve as many eligible children in our community as possible while responsibly distributing the toys generously donated to the campaign.

When you arrive at your scheduled time, your family's package will be prepared and ready for pickup.
