Josephine County Toys for Tots is powered by our community. Every toy collected, box sorted, event attended, and family package prepared happens because people are willing to step forward and help.
Whether you can give a few hours, volunteer throughout the campaign, or bring a group together to serve, there is a place for you in our mission.
?? Ways You Can Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities may be available throughout the campaign and can include:
- Setting up and maintaining toy collection sites
- Picking up and transporting donated toys
- Loading and unloading donation boxes
- Sorting and organizing toys by age group
- Helping organize our toy warehouse
- Preparing personalized toy packages for approved families
- Assisting with community events and toy drives
- Helping with distribution preparation
- Assisting families during scheduled toy pickup
- General campaign and administrative support
Volunteer needs will change throughout the season, especially as we get closer to Christmas.
?? Help Us Prepare Family Packages
Our local distribution will work a little differently this year.
Instead of families selecting toys during distribution, our team will prepare packages ahead of time for each approved family. Volunteers will help us review the ages, likes, and interests provided for each child and thoughtfully select gifts from the toys available to us.
Because all toys are provided through donations, we cannot guarantee specific items. Our volunteers will simply do their best to create a special package for each child using the donations our community has generously provided.

We would love to hear from you!
Group volunteer opportunities may be available for toy sorting, collection efforts, warehouse projects, campaign events, and other activities. Opportunities are dependent on our current needs, available space, and scheduling.
?? What Happens After You Volunteer?
Complete our Volunteer Request Form with your contact information, availability, interests, and any skills or experience that may be helpful.
Submitting the form lets our team know you are interested in helping but does not guarantee a specific volunteer assignment, date, or number of hours.
Our campaign team will review your information and contact you as volunteer opportunities become available that match our needs and your availability.
If selected for an opportunity, you will receive additional information regarding the date, time, location, responsibilities, and any instructions you need before arriving.

Not able to volunteer your time? There are still plenty of ways to support Josephine County Toys for Tots.
You can:
- Donate a new, unwrapped toy
- Make a monetary donation
- Become an official toy drop site
- Organize a toy drive or community event
- Become a campaign sponsor
- Donate supplies or services
- Help spread the word throughout our community
